True Beauty Lies Within Amazing Alterables Project
She likes to sing, she likes to dance, and she likes to paint, but most of all, she knows that true beauty lies within. Every day she puts forth great effort to find the true beauty in life and everything she comes across. Each day she sets out in search of hearts everywhere she turns. When one crosses her path, her soul fills with joy — it is in that moment that she knows everything will be alright.
True Beauty Lies Within Amazing Alterables Project Instructions:
Coat the entire surface of the Amazing Alterables with black gesso or acrylic paint. Let dry.
Cut out elements from ARTchix Paper Dolls collage sheet. I used one of the faces, a dress, and trimmed down the arm pieces so they would fit the doll.
Glue the cutouts to the matching pieces with gel medium. Adorn with additional collage pieces, such as the rose in her hair and the word “beauty” across her chest.
Attach the arms with the provided pegs, and the legs with a dark piece of string. Wire or jumps rings would also work.
To finish, paint her shoes red with acrylic paint.
